We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Specialist to support daily HR operations in Germany. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management, HR compliance coordination, and administrative support in an international environment.
The role focuses approximately 70% on HR operations and projects, and 30% on recruitment and coordination support. At the same time, we are in the early stages of company building, which involves organizational restructuring between companies. You will be one of the people in charge of the main body transition, which will be a very valuable experience.
This role is offered as a 12-month contract, renewable.
Location: Germany, Frankfurt
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle (about 70%)
- Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding in Germany
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., Personio) and internal platforms
- Coordinate cross-functional onboarding arrangements with IT, local administration, and other departments
- Assist with onboarding communications, scheduling, and internal announcements
- Support the setup and administration of employee benefits (e.g., insurance, allowances)
- Assist with HR projects such as process improvements and policy implementation
- Support daily HR operations to ensure compliance with German labor regulations
- Collaborate with HQ HR team in NL and China to align and implement HR policies
Contracts, Visa & Compliance Support
- Assist in preparing and maintaining employment documents such as offer letters, contracts, and HR policy files
- Track contract signatures and maintain organized digital personnel records
- Support work visa and permit application/renewal processes under guidance
- Assist with HR compliance documentation and coordination across regions
Recruitment & Coordination Support (about 30%)
- Support recruitment activities in Germany, with a focus on intern hiring
- Assist in resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
- Arrange interviews, internal meetings, and follow up on scheduling logistics
- Support recruitment channel management and employer branding initiatives
Vendor & Administrative Support
- Coordinate with external HR service providers (e.g., payroll, insurance, medical) and support related administrative processes
- Assist with internal events, team-building activities, and general office-related administrative support
